About this African song
Lumière Verte is a modern Senegalese Afropop track blending French and Wolof vocals, telling the story of a woman leaving a relationship that had become too confining. As the traffic light turns green, it symbolizes her stepping forward into a new chapter of her life, moving on with confidence rather than fleeing.
